How SproutDB handles your data

SproutDB is a Chrome extension that runs in your browser. When you save a LinkedIn profile, the extension reads the details on the page and sends them directly to your own JobAdder account over an authenticated connection.

We don't store your candidates, contacts, or LinkedIn data on our servers. The extension talks to JobAdder on your behalf; the data goes from LinkedIn to your database and nowhere else.

Authentication is handled through a secure sign-in with JobAdder. SproutDB never sees or stores your JobAdder password. Your access token lives in your browser's extension storage and is used only to talk to your JobAdder environment.

We keep a minimal account record (your email and subscription status) so we can manage your trial and billing. That's it.

Curious how your network compares to your database? Our free audit is built to the same privacy standard — your data is compared in your browser and never stored.

The formal details

Who we are

SproutDB is a product of Meridian Seven Pty Ltd (ABN 90 697 444 223), an Australian company. For anything privacy-related, email hello@sproutdb.au — it goes to a human.

Your account

We hold your email address and subscription status, kept while your account is active and deleted on request. Billing is processed by ExtensionPay; your card details go to them, never to us.

Service providers

Vercel hosts this site and our sign-in broker (server logs carry account identifiers only — never candidate data). Supabase stores our anonymous site analytics. ExtensionPay handles subscriptions. Your candidate data is not in scope for any of them: it moves from your browser to your JobAdder account and touches nothing of ours.

Site analytics

This site uses first-party, anonymous analytics: a random identifier kept in your browser for the current session only. No cookies, no third-party trackers.

If we emailed you and you're not a customer

We market SproutDB to recruitment agencies that use JobAdder. If you received one of our emails, we obtained your name, role and work email either from Lusha, a licensed B2B contact-data provider, or from your agency's public website or LinkedIn page. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you work at an agency whose software our product connects to. We hold only those business-contact details and our emails contain no open or click tracking. Reply asking us to stop — or email hello@sproutdb.au — and we'll delete your details and permanently add you to our do-not-contact list. Prospect details that get no response are deleted within 12 months of our last contact.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted — email hello@sproutdb.au. If you're in the UK or EU you can object to direct marketing at any time (we honour it immediately) and complain to your supervisory authority — the ICO in the UK. In Australia, the OAIC.
